Mag open ug Psychiatry ward ang Cebudoc this October.

Ipadala ug Chicago ang ma hire for training.

This is good news for us taking Master in Psychiatric nursing.

Sometimes I wish ni take ko ug computer related course. XD

Gnahan sd ta kog office job, graphic designing or programming or mga ingana...

If I can't get a job this year as a nurse, shift ko next year.... The thought of having to go abroad to get a good future is nauseating. I never wanted to leave the country, not to mention my family for greener pastures. When I went into nursing I never looked at the future of my career, karon rko nka realize dli ko gnahan mu larga as a nurse. Pero wa natay mahimo.

I could have taken culinary courses, that was my first love, but no... I had to go with a "sosyal na maid" (no offense) course. Makes me want to turn back time.

I feel you. I could have taken computer related courses kay mao jud ako ganahan unta. And with all this waiting na ma improve ang status sa nursing diri sa pinas murag dugay pa siguro na mahitabo. Sige lang ta hulat ug maayo sa nursing or a decent job na related sa nursing pero murag na puno na jud maskin unsaon pa nimo ug hangyo diha sa HR.

Im thinking of studying ComSci or IT or ComEng maybe next year kung dili pa jud makatrabaho as nurse. At least double major na ko.

Sa ulahi ra jud ko naka realize. Maayo lang sa pag studyante paka kay no question lingaw jud kaayo ang nursing pero when the time comes na graduate naka, iyahay na and paunhanay na ug pangita trabaho.

The schools and the review centers are centered in money making not in making quality nurses, this is the reality of the so called "puppy mills".

@topic: Sadly I can't afford to study another course because gasto na kaayu. I need to finish this nursing career, or find a job na unrelated to nursing that doesn't require a degree.. Good luck nako!!! hahaha

Nothing is too late. You guys are still young. If you wish to take a new course like ComSci, then go for it. At least wala moy regrets.

Puppy mills meaning mass production ug mga nurses na dili kaayo competent basta lang makagraduate. Kani nahitabo sa mga eskwelahan na way klaro, ang kwarta gi-una dili ang kalidad sa pagtudlo sa nursing.

Luoy ang mga studyante kay nisabay ra sa uso unya wala diay kabalo sa situation karon sa nursing. Ang future dili jud kaayo hayag kung plano mogawas or maskin mu trabaho man lang as staff nurse.
