sus napud! i've witnessed this kind of accident/incident twice jud,one in gaisano south,second sa robinsons..biktima puros mga gagmay nga bata,inahan man ko mao magsakit jud ako dughan magwatch sa mga bata magsyagit sa sakit,makahilak jud ko ug apil..makalagot kay sala man sa mga tagtungod nga dli cautious or magdanghag nga pasagdan lang ila anak nga maghikap2 ana escalator!

sus, cge ra ba ko laag sa SM mostly sa Bibo ra mi magdula CS, wat time ni nahitabo bai motown? murag ang kasikas wla ni abot sa bibo hehe, dapat lagi jud bantayan sa parents ila anak like ani nga incidents bah ky dli lalim oi kung naa mahitabo sa imung anak.. I believe SM could still be liable for damages on this ky dugay mn cla nka respond though they ang ila security has communication equipments.

been there ghapon but mga 5 ni uli nami..ala mi kaabot. though maka ingon ta na fault sad sa ginikanan kay wala gabantay but partly sala sa taga SM..dapat i-review nila ila safety & emergency guidelines... naa jud na daun mo rescue but imagine 40mins pa naabot ang doctor..ang bata ana maluya na pag-ayo...then nagwait pa sa bombero una matang tang ...kalouy sa bata,oi...hope and pray ok ra ang bata.

kanang mga escalator or elevator mao gyud ni mga lugar nga delikado kaayo sa mga bata... busa kitang mga ginikanan dili gyud nato buhi-an sa atong kamot ang bata o bakaha mas maayo kuguson gyud..

di man gyud na 100% safe ang escalator. hasta pud elevator. mao btaw naa gyud nay mga warning signs. even upper grnd floor railings where u can look down are not safe for kids. kuyaw mokatkat ug mahulog kng pasagdan.
if the tot's arm was caught by the escalator, the only possible cause was he/she poked his/her finger into the metal gaps. once the finger is caught, mosunod ang hand, then ang arm, while moving pa ang stairs. when the stairs will sense to a certain degree that it is stuck, it will shut off. pero late na na.
There was even a controversy regarding kiddy crocs (rubber sandals). I have seen photos in the net were crocs can be easily be eaten by escalators. and including the feet!!! if im not mistaken, there have been suits filed against the sandal brand in the U.S. involving these kind of accidents. I'm just wondering why only the sandal company and not the escalator company. Or maybe just both. Escalator accidents is boring news while Crocs-stuck-in-escalators is more controversial.
