ok here are some questions for you people...

FOR ME!:

I am not not comfortable with gay marriage myself... BUT does it give the me right to stop them from doing so? ... I am not comfortable with Barney too, does that give me the right to protest against coz it makes me "Uncomfortable".

AGAIN... you may not like gay marriage ...and for that reason - "coz you dont like it", does it gives you the right to stop them?

heres one thing to ponder again...

Exclude the Bible... take the bible laws away for a second... ask yourself...

"What harm does gay marriage does to me?"

-if your answer is nothing... then you simply dont like the idea... and simply not liking the idea is not reason enough to stop people from doing so... its their right...

in a country that prides itself as free...
"People can do whatever they want as long it doesnt harm (NOT OFFEND) other people"

We cannot exclude the bible when talking about marriage because marriage in itself is religious and sacred .The purpose of marriage is to unite a man and a woman in the eyes of God.The union are blessed even in Civil marriages.

Religion is based upon the teachings in the bible.The bible being its foundation, rules and guidelines if i may say.Both are almost synonimous with 1 another.

A car wouldn't be called a car if it had no wheels.We cant separate the wheels from the car and question ourselves why its not moving.

well ,,,, its making a mockery out of a RELIGION alot of people so firmly believe and care about. So it does offend alot of people specially those who are religious.

Whats next ,,,human and animal marriage ?

Hundreds of years ago people fought wars just to preserve Christianity or their religion.
In our age YES We protest and do what we can to preserve our beliefs and the rules of the church and not to be made a mockery .

from the biblical/religious standpoint, the blessings of the highest legal Authority was pronounced upon the union of man and woman,where by the rib taken from man was made into a woman. "That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh." <--institution of marriage. So basically, Adam and Eve didn't engage in pre-marital ***.

And for legalities, they were authorized to have *** relations and were given an assignment that would fill their lives with meaning which is to populate this world

if our daily lives are ALWAYS based on the writing of the Holy Bible, then what's the use of marriage then? Adam and Eve were not married when Eve bore Abel, as well as Cain. Therefore, both did pre-marital ***. How come it was not written there? I'm not trying to influence anyone's beliefs here. My point is, RESPECT WHAT NEEDS TO BE RESPECTED.

Ahh okey, tradition or religion is not the same. ang buot lang unta nako ipasabot, kung unsa ra ang na known na toh nga paagi gikan sa atong religion mao ra unta ang ilang sundon. Kay kung mahitabo man gani nga same *** pwede ra magpakasal, mura na hinuon nagduwa2x. no offense to all.
