Who's using low end AMD?

I plan to build low end AMD like LE 1150, LE 1200 or 1620(1620, I don't know if this is low end) for browsing, YM and downloading lang since these proc are energy efficient.

Feel free to suggest/ comment kai I am not familiar with AMD.

I have searched high and low but have not found any thread regarding these proc.

Actually I did a start a thread about these processors.

I actually planned to buy these kinds of processors, but ended up with an Althon x2 4000+ instead.

Why not an ITX motherboard with a processor bundle? This is a shoebox solution, very small, very efficient. Heard that J&W is releasing soon the PCI-e x16 version for AMD and Intel as well.

Please be aware that there is a documented problem with these processors and Asus M2VM boards. Just a heads up so you won't have the same problems I have.

btaw bro...kita man ka sa akong ITX based pc didto sa - Post your rigs here- nga thread...mao na ni ron akong gamit...31W @ wall using a wattmeter...Intel Atom ni ang processor w/ HT na...1 physical core...2 threads...basically dual core ni at 1.6GHz...dagan baya ang NBA Live08 nga game...

sir ask lang ko.naa ka idea pla magasto naku ani sempron? cpu only, 40g hdd, integrated lang ang video(although na nag advice naku sa pikas thread ng ms maayo btangan gyud naku ug video crd aron dugay maguba ang mobo) and 256 mb ram? d na ba mo ungot ang karon mga games ani?bsan network games?

Paabta lang na ug 2GB imo ram bro then kini na mobo palita Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-DS2H or GA-MA78GPM-DS2H para dili kaayo ka mabitin sa games.

and bro 254mb today is for OS only,, put atleast 1GB-2gb on it if you will run XP

if your setup will be a sempron le, onboard video, 256ram... to tell you frankly, sorry sa business bro. it could not entertain users... flash games lang na.
