    training is all we need....
how come our lolo's and lola's are very well verse in english? its because they were trained in the school. and it is the only dialect used for communication

i even wonder how fast my 5yr old kid adopt the english dialect compaired to her classmates. its because i dont allow her to speak in bisaya. its not that i dont want bisaya but i know she will be able to learn the dialect to on her own with her friends.

I think it's not like that. Americans don't mind your accent, but as long as they make sense on what you converse to them then it's a point!

Having such good and nice and decent access without sentence construction/sensible argumentation is still referred as a bad conversation.

As I can see in the topic it's referring to "GENERAL ENGLISH" .... "AMERICAN ENGLISH" to exemplify on the arguments.

Where could I have posted that General English = American English? I think I haven't posted that.

As I can recall I was just trying to connect the previous example (in which they exemplified American English).

Shall we try it in British or Aussie English?

Default MERGED: Modern Education, Literacy and English Proficiency

DepEd has invested the lion’s share of its lion’s share budget in the so-called cyber-education that aims to “modernize” schools. Believing that equipments alone can put across lots of information to young tabula rasas, educators tend to obscure the fact that time and resources also counts in students’ learning.

Unsaon kaha pagpahimulos sa cyber-education kun ang oras sa pagtuon og mahinungdanong butang, ma-dilute lang ngadto sa walay hinungdan nga subjects sama sa Filipino? With the globalized economy, it is high time to revise students curriculum unto what could really provide the impetus. This means adding more teaching time for english, science, and mathematics. Non-sensical and simplistic Filipino (actually tagalog) must be abolished.
