1.Abuse (If you play like a vacuum cleaner on steroids.)
    2.Metal fatigue (time)
    3.Food particles lodge in between.
4.Oxidation (if you dunk it in water. samot nag dagat)
5.Inexperienced hands trying to tune it.
    6.Pison (kung maligsan)

All the above factors can damage the reeds.

    @ Luthienne:
This pertains to the studio version in her album Jagged Little Pill.
Head over feet harp playing is technically simple but the song is in key of C for the verses and D for the chorus. It is just a series of blows and draws no bending. The harp is played during the chorus using a D harp in the first position or straight harp style. So if you use your harp while jamming with the verses it will work But not during the chorus where she actually plays the harp. It might be possible to use the C harp in 3rd position but it will require bending and may not sound right.
I suggest you just jam during the verses.
    Have fun........................but not too much.hehehe.

    hehehe. Too much of everything.................

You will need a D harp for the harmonica part played at the chorus. 1st position playing. In D Major.
You can try 3rd position with your harp if you can bend alll the notes already. But it will sound somewhat different.

    Good job. You've been practicing.

Amazing grace is a very good piece to practice. Try it in at least 2 keys.

Does anybody remember the old Marlboro advertisement jingle? It sounds so cool with the harp.
