Mga master ask ko mo tingog ba jud na ang hdd? kay akoa sa tinood bag-o ako hdd samsung spinpoint HD200HJ unya ig seek/read niya mo vibrate ug mo tingog krakkk tkskk....like that pero dili jud kusog pero
medyo saba jud cya unya ako gipailisan 3x so ika 3 nani nga hdd apil ang una nako gi gamit.

Same raman ang sounds niya so normal ra kaha na? naa man samsung UTIL pwede ma usab ang setting for SILENT (decrease lang iya performance gamay) MIDDLE(FAST/SILENT) DISABLE or FAST.

ako gi disable and leave as default ok ra bah kaha? unya ako na na check wala jud problema. Then, ako nana gi try ug usab ang setting before into silent or fast same raman gihapon naa man gihapon sounds.

Karon sa last nga gi ilis lesser kaayo iya sounds pero mo tingog jud cya ig basa.

NORMAL ra au na bro... i've had encountered alot of 7200.10 rpm harddrive nga mag tingog ig read/write... okay man japun. coz if its a problem. ni fail na unta ang harddisk....

Nevermind that bro, although there are drives that were built almost noiseless pud.

if you can consider buying another model of harddrive.

mo tingug gyud na gamai kai mechanical man na nga mga parts inside nga nag move...kanang Samsung dili gyud na sila as hilom compared sa uban brand like Seagate, Western Digital etc.

ang ako seagate 320GB 7200.10 kay mo saba man. Pero ako na lang gipasag-daan kay wala man ko blema sa mga data transfer.

ako seagate 160gb, mo saba sad. i think normal ra. sagdaan ra man sad nako, everytime mo load ang os anha cya mo saba.

he using spinpoint series hdd, and that is Samsung not seagate.

and by the way, i once had a 40gb spinpoint samsung, not to mention but it's very quiet... just hot lang ^_^

normal lang na xa bro... it's probably because for samsung, the magnetic disk is not that compact compared to seagate or WD, that is why when the disks rotate, it produces more audible sounds.... but in fairness for samsung, seagate and WD also produces sounds during R/W... so normal lang na xa... nothing to worry...

Karon ang gi puli kina last kay not so noisy labi ig on and off no more noise...coz I hate noise jud. Anyway its normal man kaha so I never mind jud.

Then, karon ok raman ang new hdd paspas jud cya no doubt about it. Anyway, daghan jud ko problema ron sa PC pero hinay hinay na sulbad...
