have you read these line in link that u gave? so logically u still have to purchase a hardware that they are selling. now if u only buy that oem licensed software install it then put sticker without the qualified hardware that they sold in itĀ* so its still illegal
I think MS should sell OEM licenses only to OEMs and not to end users, this will bring confusion since most end users will be misled to believe they can install it on any hardware/PC. Somebody told me that if my PC with the OEM license on it dies (my Dell PC with broken motherboard), I cannot take that OEM licensed software - WinXP and install it on another PC (clone), even though the harddrive, cdroms, and other were still the same hardware that was on the Dell machine except for the motherboard. Ouch!
