for breed specific, question on most expensive, it can always go back to the basics of economics:
"supply and demand"
so far dog breed specific here in the philippines i have encountered are the alaskan malamutes. panagsa ra ang ga breed while there is still demand. great danes, gsd, rotts, st bernard, are becoming common in the market thus the price adjusts to the demand. unlike alaskan malamute here in the philippines they are uncommon in the market. seldom you will see on the net(buy and sell sites and pet specific sites) on the newspaper(local or national) selling such breed.
ive encountered once in a while of alaskan malamutes being up for sale in manila usually 40-60k(philippinepetfinder and once in sulit). compared to other breeds you wont see such a manila price of specific dog breed like the alaskans.
this having in fact that this alaskan's are not from champion lines or no guarantee if they came from a close working line of pedigree. unlike gsd's, belgian malinois, great danes, rotts, dobe etc,.. it requires it should been a champ from dog show or title holder in any shows or competion OR well trained before it can be posted at the price range of 40-60k. of course imported dogs is another story. hence you add up the shipping cost plus the cost from the breeder abroad.
my two cents.

that is true. airfare pa lang more than 50k in pesos na, plus the handling in the quarantine. depend on the quarantine laws and regulation from the importing country pa gyud. i've heard specifically the state of nevada requires three weeks or so to quarantine a dog before it leaves its international airport. same period also for inbound dogs. of course, that means you have to shoulder the quarantine cost in staying in their facility. when import, you have to bribe pa mga authorities para ma release agad dog mo, in local parlance "lagay". plus plus misc fees and the list goes on for the fees.
thats why on my previous post i mentioned, import dogs is a different story.

pitbull is a common breed but still have some island born that would cost 80k to 100k
brittish bulldogs are awesome got mine for 40 before that was a one time thing not going that far again but he was worth it.
OT: brit bull for 40k? is that cebu price? daming brit bull in manila for 15k with pcci na. dami pang red marks. the one who sold you is lucky to pinch you with 40k for that.
