    Default How to check Bad Sectors?


    Unsaon man pag check kung naa bad sector imu hardisk?i mean naa ba software ana para ma test natu kung naa bad sector?

    pwede ra ka mag run ug chkdsk sa command prompt or sa windows recovery console... though naa pud na xa mga softwares pero i suggest lang sa to use the chkdsk utility...

    all apps they've posted for ur hd can be found in that utilities suite.

    try ninyo mga bro..

    its a freeware..

    google where to download a copy.

    pwd sad bro ryt click on da dsk drive go to properties choose tools for bad sector recovery..

    but first try to analyze and familiriaze first on the software tools na naka-bundle on this HIRENS
    kay nindot ni gamiton on bootable

    naa pud usa is- unsay brand sa imong HDD? if seagate- adto sa website nila naa silay seatools na free to download

    naa sad ang samsung
    western digital
    etc. etc.

    if you're windows, you'd be surprised chkdsk works as good as the other utilities. just make sure to run chkdsk from the recovery console and add the following parameter - /r. the command would now look like this:

    chkdsk c: /r

    now, to view the report, as soon as you're logged back in windows go to eventviewer or simply type eventvwr.msc in your run window and check the applications log look for information provided by winlogon, everything's there.
