If you look at dell or hp websites do they warn you that it is an OEM licensed OS and you can't install it there? diba misleading ni siya if ever what you say is right....

have you read these line in link that u gave? so logically u still have to purchase a hardware that they are selling. now if u only buy that oem licensed software install it then put sticker without the qualified hardware that they sold in itÂ* so its still illegal

I think MS should sell OEM licenses only to OEMs and not to end users, this will bring confusion since most end users will be misled to believe they can install it on any hardware/PC. Somebody told me that if my PC with the OEM license on it dies (my Dell PC with broken motherboard), I cannot take that OEM licensed software - WinXP and install it on another PC (clone), even though the harddrive, cdroms, and other were still the same hardware that was on the Dell machine except for the motherboard. Ouch!

guys i just want to know one thing, i already bought the original xp licenses but i heard that we should first take these to Microsoft Cebu office to be authenticated. What does this mean? arent the cds itself not authentic already? it has the sticker and other stuff. I wasnt even informed by the store where i bought the cds that i should do this. This raid thing is really a pain in the ass!

dudes, kung naa magpa print sa cafe ninyo na word doc, naa dako possibility na mabungkag ang layout sa documents kung mo gamit mo ug OpenOffice or StarOffice, especially kung daghan kaayo mga graphics/pictures ang document, i suggest na mo gamit na lang ka ug MS WORD VIEWER na pwede nimong ma download sa microsoft website... sa website, nakabutang didto na libre ni. pero ahak lang aning Microsoft, basin i negosyo na pud ni nila...
