Cover Songs or Composition?... w/c is ideal to play?

...mostly jud magcover but the ultimate aim is to play their own songs if they already got the popularity... bands are seeking for popularity&exposure by playing covers...doing so is just their stepping stone towards their ultimate goal w/c is for the crowd to hear & love their selfmade xonatas.

All bands are playing covers...simply these were just a popularity interest investments

i think, there is so much to discover and create!!!
it would be a waste of time to play other people's songs.
pero kung you love this or that artist.. it's okay to pay tribute. =D

Ideal to play? depende sa imong banda...
if you're a cover band.. then play covers. If you want to express yourself through music, then write your own songs.

Covering is a part of learning, don't u know y? bec. u will find out some different theory/idea that u can apply to your compo.

if you play too much covers you end up sounding like the bands you idolize ...when you play covers you also tend to end up with compositions which have a similarity in tone,style,riffs etc...

if you play alot of covers you end up like CUeshe...
