TO ALL STUDENT:

if you are still a student. I advice to get involve extra curricular activities
and on my opinion and based on experience.

Rotaract Club is the best Club for me.
aside from my IT related clubs hehehe

You will get to know and talk to some big businessman here in Cebu.
while you are still a student, in this way it will be a big advantage if you apply for a job.
or you can work in their company if given a chance.

Imagine that you character reference on you resume is one of the owner of a big establishment here
in Cebu.

Also, you will experience and see for yourself, other people/poor people in the province live each day by joining Medical Missions and having some friends from different City's here in the Philippines by joining District Conferrence wherein your fare and allowance are being shouldered by your sponsoring Rotarians.

But Rotaract performance also depends on how active/supportive is your Mother club (Local Rotary Clubs) it is however an obligation of Rotarians to take good care of their Rotaractors.

at the age of 35(I think mao ni age karun sa new handbook. correct me if I'm wrong)
your membership to Rotaract will be terminated and its up for your
Mother club if they invites you to become a Rotarians, because Rotary Membership is
thru Invitation. a reason we cannot be called Junior Rotarians.

The one you are referring is what we called ROTEX - Rotary Exchange


ROTARACT is under the umbrella and guidance of ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.


Rotary can live without Rotaract, but Rotaract cannot live without Rotary.

but the RI or Rotary International, encourages Local Rotary Club to adopt Rotaract Club and Interact Club because
that can add points for there Club.
