Nursing is really too overhyped. I don't really think that the demand aka the "opportunity" in nursing is really that great as to what most people claim. Oh well, let everybody take nursing para gamay na lang kaayo ang kompetensya sa among field. bwahahaha!!!

I can't imagine what would happen if everybody will take up nursing. Blue-collar workers are even earning as much as nurses in other countries.

agreed. I don't know why I took up nursing in the first place, but I've learned to love it. My first love was cooking. And then there was computer stuff. but alas, we can't all be chefs and programmers/script kiddies.

Kaning mga unemployed nursing grads, how about mo try mo ug apply as au pairs in Scandinavian countries? I know several people working ana nga trabaho in countries like Norway, Sweden, Denmark...maayo man ilang kahimtang. They are paid good, unya dagko pa gyud ug bonuses if their bosses like the quality of their work. Pang stepping stone lang ni bah, samtang naghuwat pa mo maka work as nurses. It's better than being unemployed.

arang-arang na lang gani ng taga call center kay napay time mag istambay sa coffee shops, mag chika², nya mag suroy² sa mall, mag shopping. Nya naa pod silay team building. Ang nurse intawn, after trabaho uli dayon sa balay. inig mata trabaho na pod balik..hehe not to mention kanang maka-pasyente ka ug pwerteng daghana nya mga lain pa jud ug batasan ang uban.

mao gyud, bisan gani ga-bakasyon ra ko didto for 2 weeks, nakabantay gyud ko na mas nindot ang life sa pinas...how much more kung long-term employment na gyud

I agreed with that. We were always looking forward na maka uwi sa pinas to have vacation.


My advice for the fresh grads and newly RN. If you're willing to have an experience well take nursing volunteers work, nowadays, daghan na kaau mo ug mga competensya sa inyo field.

It's better na volunteer mo but walay sweldo, however you will gain experience.. ayaw mo sugot na matambay... lisod na.. sayang inyo pagtuon ug tuition..
