twice a year ang board exam for nurses. more or less 50,000 ang mahimong RN kada tuig. out of this, pila ra kaha ang kabuok ma-employed..hehe mao nay giingon mas daghan pa ang nurses karon kaysa pasyente..toinks

Anyway, which hospital ang nice? For experience-wise and income-wise ba....

I already asked for the requirements of several hospitals but dili pa sila mu accept ug papers.. So... meaning...

murag lisod kaau ni imong gipangita nga "income-wise" diri sa Pinas... pero ok ra cguro sa mga gov't hospitals labi na kung regular employee na ka. Experience-wise di pod ka mag-mahay.

Kanang pag-apply² nah ambot na lang, dapat jud cguro lakas kag backer. Ampo na lang pod na ma-swertehan. Kung mahimo, tanan hospitals aplayi! hasta ng mga hospitals outside Cebu. Panimpad nalang jud. Survival of the fittest na ni karon panahona for the nurses..hehe

obvious na kau ang ebidensya, ga lata^ na ang mga nursing graduates, nya pipila lang ang maka abroad.

on top of that, mahal pa kau ang nursing school kay ABUSARAN sa mga HAKOG nga COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES.

correct kaau ka diha sis! grabeh na kamahal ang nursing education diwi sa Pinas.. as in ginegosyo na gyud nila as of 2008 over supply na ang mga nurse sa industry.. lisod kaau ipangita ug trabaho diwi kay ang waiting time nila is 6-12 months before ka magstart ug duty in most hospitals unless naa kay back-up nga Head nurse or director sa hosp then pasok ka dayon.. what about katong mga ultimo lang na RN.. hayss.. luoy tawn kaau kay nia nanimpalad sa call centers para lang dli ma miyembro sa federation.. hehehe.. the so-call "unemployed" hehehe.. w/c means palamunin sa bahay ni nanay!

ive read a news article posted in Cebu Doctors fuente, that most of the nursing students study nursing just to go abroad and earn dollars, once they get to their destination, they just work there for 2-3 months, then go awol. I find it odd that nursing students now are so sosyal and sexy and pretty, do you think these type of students want to work in a dirty hospital, and serve disease, sick, ugly people? hmmmnnn, i dont think so

i hope wala ko maka-igo, but in reality, nursing is a "dirty" job, manual, basic hardcore, to serve the sick.dili ni pwede sa mga walay kubal sa kamot, hehe.

unya mam ug mangabroad ka labi na sa US, kaya nimo ang stress dri? labi na imong mga patients kay gahi ug ulo? labi na gyud ng mga IV drug abuser patients and sickle cell patients and other patients with attitude problem and mental problems?

tinuod gyud ka... way back 1996, pag graduate nako nursing school mao say pag-close sa US ato... sus! luoy kaayo mi kay volunteer nalang gyud tawon bahala way sweldo maka-experience lang... apply bisan asa kay dili madawat kay over qualified... maayo gani mo karon kay naa pay call center nga pwede masudlan... kami kaniadto kay intawon, wala gyud... pabuhi lang tawon sa parents...

i think it's still ok to get to nursing school... sooner or later the US will hire nurses again from other countries... projection dri in the next few years, there will be a shortage of nurses... short na gani nurses karon dri... mograbe pa daw in the next few years... pasensya lang sa mga nursing grads... mo-open ra lagi ang US... ako pa ninyo, while applying for a job, hinay-hinay sad mo take nclex ug kanang english test that they require... para once pwede na maka-apply abroad, kumpleto namo sa requirements... i've been in your shoes before... back then, i felt wala na gyud koy pag-asa maka-abroad or makatrabaho man lang sa pinas ... ampo lang gyud...ihatag ra gyud na sa Ginoo kung para inyo na nga time... patience is a virtue... pasensya lang sa mga kapatid... makatrabaho ra gyud mo... maka-abroad ra gyud mo... pag-kugi lang ug pangaply, ihatag ra gyud na ni Lord

nka experience nko sa pagka dirty sa nursing career first hand jud... aw... first "hands" jud.. haha walay yucks yucks uy!

Kaya rman ang people sa hospital setting, so far wa mn ko nag problems, and yes I've encountered A LOT of hard headed patients. Mental problems, yeah I've been with deranged and other psychiatric patients. Still not a problem. Drug addicts? done.... Irritable "feeling sosyal" patients? Done...

i've done the "dirtiest" job already! kung nurse ka, dli jud ka mamili og work...

mao sd na ako nabantayan karon sa mga nsg students...mga pasosyalay na mn karon oi... aw, mahibaw-an btaw sd na if mo-work na jud cla! sa mka-survive lng!
