try to uninstall Nero then use the windows' burning wizard. if it works uwing windows, then it's likely the problem caused by Nero

In the case of Nero's "suckage", unsa may laing burning software nga recommended?

Nero 6 might be worth a try. Personally I've encountered no problems with Nero 6.

I don't know if this is any help, but as to the whole, Nero 6 V. Nero 7, last year our office bought about 30 computers with either an ASUS/LITE-ON/SONY/SAMSUNG Combo Drive (cd-rw/dvd-rom). Of those 30 drives only at least 10 came bundled with Nero 7 (the Samsung drives), the rest still came bundled with Nero 6. So Nero 6 could still be the preferred bundled burning app over Nero 7, I guess.

Thanks, I uninstalled Nero 7,but before I install it again (since I don't have Nero 6), can anyone tell me of other burning software that might do me good?

First, my old data dvds won't run when I put them in the DVD drive anymore... It can still read the DVDs bought from stores, but the ones that I burn can't be read...

Second, whenever I burn something, Nero 7 always says burn failed... Always... I can't burn my data files in DVDs anymore! NOOOooooo!!!

I'm thinking maybe my DVD drive is broken, or maybe it's the software Nero itself.. I don't know..

And last thing, do 20 peso blank DVDs have a short life span after you burn files into them?

try changing ur nero 7 to nero 9.maybe mao pud na ang problem..pro in other ways naa pud mo act virus sa imo comp nga madamay ang pag burn..dli man cguro maguba ang dvd basta maka read pa og lain nga CD..
20php DVD's: depende ra sa pag handle..hehe pro mas nindot jud 80-100php nga DVD pra lig.on..
