This reminds me of PHONE BOOTH just an hour and 10 in length. Just like that other movie, you can easily sit through it twiceI watched this movie.. feeling jd nako ako si rachel.. mura sad ko'g ka ambakon sa akong seat.. I always enjoy movies where the audiences scream at the top of their lungs. I think this is my favorite genre.
The final "household chase" had all the elements that Craven is used to executing in his horror movies.
This movie is just guilty pleasure. And it's fun that other movie Turbulence with Ray Liotta and Lauren Holly was more brute and terrifying than this one but the suspense was rather unpleasant. But this one is slick entertainment and I really like Beltrami's scoring.
i thought this was another horror movie basing from the thriller but it turns out to be comical in the end..i come to think that Wes Craven, who is known for its hard-core horror movies satirically ridiculed the villain (Cillian)this time by turning him into a pathetic sucker
verdict: 8/10 - Entertaining
its called the trailer yeah, the teaser trailer was very nightmarish (pun intended) until you realize it's actually a departure from Craven's slasher/horor genre to the standard thriller.basing from the thriller
oops..
sometimes this can mislead the audience on the true plot of the movie..coz basing from the "trailer" ni pula ang mata ni Cillian so nag hulat gyud ko kanus-a mo pula na perti raba gyud ka blue sa iyang mata..
It was just a visual metaphor of the true evil nature of the charming bloke and supposedly that was Cillian Murphy - the first few moments of RED EYE's teaser make you think you're about to watch a romcom.sometimes this can mislead the audience on the true plot of the movie..coz basing from the "trailer" ni pula ang mata ni Cillian so nag hulat gyud ko kanus-a mo pula na perti raba gyud ka blue sa iyang mata..
I guess the teaser also wanted to set up the "Wes Cravenous" atmosphere of what the movie was really about. It's kinda like "gotcha" and you thought this was a romcom gimmick.
But the full trailer gave so much away so I thought the full trailer stank.
OT: I know you are browsing the TV and movies thy omnipotent istoryan! ;-b you're here now but NOT revisiting this thread yet...
