actuallly, that's the main attraction for some people... you have internet access with airconditioned comfortable rooms at a cheap rate plus you have a white sand beach all to yourself (or almost...) the place is peaceful and relaxing, well worth the 3 hour travel to and form the city... best to stay overnight para sulit ang bonding (beer and karaoke and swimming) with friends
