so sa two front speaker doors rako mu deaden bro sa? unsa imo ma suggest ako unahon bro, deaden or sub?
i know at least 4 people wanted to buy the focal seps, you're the 5th hehehe!
    anyway, back to your question...
yup, try to deaden the doors first. then kung kulangan pa ka sa imong bass, that's the time you add a sub (so open na sad ka sa idea of adding a sub?)

try to deaden the inside of the door kanang luyo sa outermost panel, the one exposed outside, and also the inner part (kanang makita nimo kung tangtangon ang door panel. i got very good results that way. flashband ra gani to gamit nako. then if supply permits, try to double (or triple) the deadening on the parts nearest the speaker.

if you use flashband (tag 680+ lang sa home builders diha sa a.s. fortuna) use a hair drier to heat up the metal surface before apply the deadening so that it sticks well. a roller will help a lot in applying pero kung wala just improvise hehehe! just remember NOT to cover screw holes or parts where plastic parts are anchored.

    hello bro.

i usually buy the 10m x 100mm width variety. just enough to cover inner and outer door panels of 2 doors basta sakto pagka-budget/apply then apil na sad double layer sa areas near the speaker. imho, my 2 front doors are smaller than most sedans (hilander). naa siya foil or silver material on one side, then ang other side kay the sticky and messy asphalt-like material (naa ni paper or plastic liner na tangtangon nimo before i-apply).

    here's a pic:
