@wolfhound: deadening your car will only "restore" whatever low frequency sound present that may be lost as rattles or vibrations in your car (the low frequency sound may already be there but you don't hear it because they get lost into your car's structure). bass will sound richer and more solid in a well-deadened car. while this might be enough for some people who just prefer inside listening, an adequately powered sub in a well-constructed box will give you even fuller sound in the lower end of the sound spectrum. imho, a 6-inch sub in a well-designed box, with enough power _can_ make a difference.

Believe me you can hear a difference. The sub won't be as loud and the sound quality won't be very good either.
I know they have recone kits in the U.S. and I did a quick check for your sub. The kit isn't cheap at all.... about $190.:o
