I have the Kiyosaki Trump tandem -- "Why We Want You To Be Rich." Unfortunately, they have laden the book with so many other recommended books to read. Just sucks.

i dont want to thread crap but i just want to say something...

actually, people will just get tired if they dont like their work

as long as u love ur job then it wont feel like work at all...

and if doesnt feel like, u'll never think of how much that pays u...

kung ilocalized lang nimo ang mga suggestions ni kiyosaki sayon ra man himuon. take for example credit cards, things i've learned about credit cards:

    1. u only need two cards, one visa and another master...d pa ayo popular ang jcb

    2. if u are an impulsive buyer, don't ever have a credit card

    3. if u are not an impulsive buyer, learn the art of kiting...buy whatever u need for month at the start of ur billing cycle and unless necessary, don't buy 1 week before the end of your billing cycle para naa ka at least 1 1/2 months to pay for your purchases.

    4. paying only the credit card minimum due is BS! alkanse lang ka cge bayad og finance charges (3.5% a month translates to 42%p.a.). no bank would give u that kind of interest for ur savings.

    5. ang 0% interest monthly installment is not really 0% interest, ask the merchant if naay discount kung magbayad ka cash..if naa and u have cash then pay cash. if walay discount then use the credit card para sa points and rewards.

    6. never, never pay annual fee, ask for a waiver, if dili ihatag, close your account (or atleast ingna iclose nimo, iwaive lagi na

    7. if daku na imo outstanding payable sa credit card, guntinga imo card but pay your debt kay mogawas jud na sa credit bureau na naa ka cancelled card with unpaid dues which would make u not credit worthy for years to come.

    8. dili na ni about credit card....PASSIVE INCOME like rentals, mutual funds & stocks are the best. rent kay wala au maintenance..mutual funds and stocks are for long term (not less than 2 years)...for mutual funds, purchase from a reputable asset management firm. u can have an investment for as low as P10K (tigum lang gud). for stocks, buy low, sell high...don't follow the crowd (ingon cla, la pa ko nakapalit og stocks).

low karon ang prices these days kay down ang stockmarkets, if i have money now, gusto jud ko palit og additional shares sa mutual funds.

beware, though, mutual funds and stocks investments are not like bank deposits where ur P250K is PDIC insured meaning dili guaranteed imo principal investments.

nindot ang mag-business pero you really need capital and how would you get capital? unless dato daan imong parents diba?

even robert himself the author of rich dad & poor dad started as an employee, saved money, before he started a business. lisod man sad gud wla ka work then mag-kalit ka business then ang imong gi-capital kay loan. what if ma-lugi ka? where would you get money to pay it, dba? atleast kung nag-work pasab ka naa maka back-up ug finance nimo...

me, i'm also trying to get into that trend..hopefully i could open up a mini-grocery this year...hopefully lang...but before that i have to clear out my debts...
