Godsaint, I wasn't referring to you or anyone else voicing comments reflecting their opposition to the war in Iraq.. That's cool by me. What I do object to are your absurd remarks blaming Bush for, as you put it, "all of the disasters of the world" and your grossly inaccurate comments about the state of the US economy. How can anyone take ANYTHING that you have to say seriously when you come up with such absurdities? You can legitimately criticize the US, Bush and the war in Iraq in this thread, but backup your BS with something factual for a change. I'm willing to listen to your opinions, but please don't present them as being even remotely factual unless you can cite your sources. Are you now also blaming Barack and Hillary as well? Sorry, but your last sentence doesn't make any sense at all.

Cosplay: Yes, I agree with you that respecting others is an important rule to follow in these sometimes heated exchanges. Having said that, do you feel that RLU's comment, "George W. Bush - the source of all evil" is a respectful manner in which to address the President of my home country? How about Demonociety's comment referring to Bush a "gnikcuf tnuc"?... Godsaint claims that Bush "has caused the world all the disasters" (his original wording). If I replaced the word "Bush" with "Gloria Arroyo", would you not feel that I was being disrespectful to you and your country? If I post something that is factually inaccurate, call me on it and ask me to back it up with facts. So far, none of the istoryans I have singled out in this thread have provided any factual basis to support their sometimes wild accusations. They remain ABSURD til proven otherwise, dig?
