Maka create ba ug new partitions during the Ubuntu installation? Kay I currently only have 2 partitions, and XP is occupying one of them, the other is unoccupied. I heard na you need to create 3 partitions for Ubuntu: home, root and swap. Maka create ba ko ani during the installation or do I have to create the 2 more partitionsin XP and before installing Ubuntu?

In my opinion, you don't need a guide to install ubuntu.. it's simpler than installing windows.

People just like talking more than actually getting off their ass and doing something.

i suggest mag install sa ka ug Windows Xp (kay naa xya dual boot manager), then make 2 partitions..then install windows in 1st partition, then after and ubuntu na...kni ang site "http://apcmag.com/how_to_dual_boot_windows_xp_and_linux_xp_installed _first.htm?page=3"...much better if i try nimo sa vmware like ako..i did it right..goodluck
