juast watched episode 13..luoya shirley ui... i think lulu's going to have trouble with rollo when rollo finds out lulu's intention of everything = nunally.. but then again orenji is now his pawn..muhahahahha. . .evil smirk..nyahahaha ...

somehow i got a really "season 1" feel on the episode.. .lulu gets to wear his s1 casual wear again..i liked that get-up..ill have a jacket customized like his..hehehe

oh and cornelia looks really hot!!! she looks younger..which is good..makes her look even hotter!!

Hmm.. About this 'Shirley mentioned Nunally and got killed by Rolo'. I don't really think it's about Nunally. I mean, why would Rolo kill her after mentioning Nunally? Nunally has been discussed in front of Rolo a couple of times and he doesn't freak out.
I'm still hoping Rolo didn't do it. >_<

No, i think my guess was wrong. When Lulu tried to use his geass again to Karen in season 1, it failed, right? Her eyes didn't glow red the second time. When Orenji canceled Lulu's & the king's geass on Shirley, she remembered everything. At first, i thought Lulu can't use his geass anymore, though it was canceled my Orenji, because it can only be applied once per person (considering they break eye contact. If they don't break eye contact, Lulu can ask the person to do multiple tasks/ask questions). During the ShirleyxLulu scene in ep 13 (where she was dying), Lulu used his geass to her a couple of times, telling her to "Live or Don't die". We can see Shirley's eyes glow red. I think that means Lulu's geass worked on her. I think it caused her heart to pump more blood in order to replace the lost blood she bled. But since her wound was still open, it even bled more blood. Well, she was losing so much blood, it was useless. In summation, I think Lulu can use his geass again to those who were canceled by Orenji. Well, i could be wrong though. xD
I watched the ShirleyxLulu scene again. The things she said.. it was so sweet and sad.. >__< :_;

Ok, that's really lol and stupid. We all know anyone can't possibly think straight in front of someone dying. Lulu knew it was impossible to call help, but he tried to use something like a miracle or magic, in this case:the geass, hoping it can help Shirley. Humans try to depend on something magical. After all, Lelouch is human. But what stretch5920 said was so funny.. especially the fairies bit. lol. And i can understand him saying something like that, being a shirley fan and all. xD

The developments in the story are making Lelouch less and less competent. He's becoming more pathetic with each episode. His geass can't save his sorry butt no more, and he isn't as cool as he was in season 1.

The developments themselves seem very unnatural. instead of "WHOA!" we get "NGEE!". They feel so forced. I'd list some but there are far too many to mention. The show goes around trying so hard to impress you with "cool" things that it fails miserably and starts to appear like a court jester.

I feel sorry for this show. It had so much promise.

Or maybe I shouldn't have watched Baccano! and Gurren Lagann.

It just goes to show that he can't save everybody, even with the supposed 'Power of a King'. In the end, he can't control everybody around him. Heck, it was the power of Geass that actually killed Shirley (Rolo). Rolo is essentially is just a no-brain killing machine. Lelouch was just done dealing with Orange (Lelouch's main weakness), who he got to join to the Black Knights! How the hell do you think he could have got to Shirley? And Suzaku was too busy playing hero so he left Shirley to die. Guess what, NOW THEY'RE EVEN!

Lelouch's forget command on Shirley was actually to not let Shirley get involved in the Geass mess. The the Geass-Canceler just had to screw her mind back.

How is he more pathetic this time? Last I remember, he has non-h4x piloting skills, physically weak, even back in season 1. Of course, you look more pathetic when you are up against a hax like Suzaku. The only thing going for him is his tactical thinking and negotiation skills. The Geass is a can save or hurt, as seen in Shirley's situation.

Long before the show, C.C. already warned of the consequence of Geass. That he will be lonely. Well, we are now seeing things get fold because it's coming to an end.

Lastly, the other two anime's you mentioned are DONE. I know they're very good ones, but it's unfair to judge a finished series where development is wrapped up compared to Code Geass. You know Code Geass and its sudden suprises. Lot's of things can happen.

I still think Code Geass is amazing. Well, call me simple minded & easy to impress, i guess. xD Sure it's not perfect, but it's great. I kinda like the not-so-cool lulu now. I mean, they try to show that lulu is not perfect and all so cool. He makes mistakes, he's physically weak, he can love and care (*cough*light>.>*cough) and can feel pain with the loss of those dear to him.
I have to admit that the Orenji surprise was a bit unexpected. But if one already watched the picture drama, you can already sense and guess that orenji might, someday, go with lulu. His failure during his first mission left him unstable and he has been trying to redeem his self by offering his loyalty to anyone (any brittanian). But it still wasn't enough. He served Clovis well, trying to redeem his self. But still failed. He was mocked by Zero, demoted. He was unstable. Until he learned that someone who might be related to the great Marianne,who he adored and served but got murdered, is still alive. Now how else could he redeem his self to everyone, especially Marianne. Why, to serve her son, of course. lol. Seems logical.

Of course, you look more pathetic when you are up against a hax like Suzaku.

baccano! had me halfway through the series. Gurren Lagann was... I can't find the words to describe episode 8. I have yet to wait for a CG episode that gives me the same feel. some episodes may have, but they can't compare to BACCANO and TTGL.

If you had to show someone one, just one episode from Code Geass to convince that someone to watch the whole series, which episode would it be? I guess for me it'd be episode 1. so sad. TTGL = episode 8 and Baccano = the episode where the rail tracer's identity is revealed.

It is, it is unfair. but I can't help it.

code geass gives me the feeling of "haha! did you see that? huh? did you? did you? wasn't that cool? please say it was cool." while the other two shows i mentioned go "us? cool? uh, yeah. whatever."

I guess Lelouch IS a lot more human now, maybe that's a good thing. But that wasn't what drew me to the series in the first place. I loved Lelouch for the antihero he was. remember the time during the first few eps when he questioned Suzaku's actions (giving up the chase just to save a falling person)?

i loved the reversal of roles. it was very. very. interesting.

i'm not just talking about the last episode when i talk about how i feel about CG. i'm talking about the entire season.

Why, oh why am i not as excited to watch every episode as before? maybe this explains it.

but I'm giving code geass a chance. maybe my opinions about it will change. I'm expecting the final episode to humble me.

Nah, ok ra na Isteb-san.. xD Ana gyud na usahay. I think i felt something similar ana with Bleach and Naruto. I need something na maka-wow nako balik. On hiatus au ko sa Naruto and i've heard so many amazing stuff na nahitabo. But ambot. Wala pa ko naka feel na dapat ko mubalik ug watch. Prolly soon pa au.. xD But i'm still a fan of the two shows. Though dili na au, unlike sauna. Dghan pa man mas nice gud, compared to the two i mentioned. So i (you, and the others who don;t limit their selves xD) watch other genres.
