the prob is... before im running this system the cpu temp would not exceed to 45C at home, but now it cud reach as much as 60C.. I havent overclocked this system. im reading 1.72v in the BIOS for my vcore(ASUS BOARD)... I lost two 300W psu due to my radeon card. so kani nga system wla nako magamit for almost a month.. since i have another computer.I just bought a new psu. I flashed back to 1008.. coz im using beta bios man. but no changes sa power sa vcore.

which shud be lesser than 1.65 ( AXP 2400+ power rating 1.65 ). I tried this proc into another board and i got 1.64v reading on it (ECS BOARD).. but still no changes in temps. the cooler before and now is the same... but why is it too hot now?

any idea?

wla koy plano ilis ug cooler. since this was normal before.... unsay nahitabo sa proc?...

im very unstable on this setup... im reaching 60C... mapaso gud ko mogunit sa base sa heatsink... pero dili jud ni ingon ani sa una.

naa problem imo proc brod mao init au na internal problem na kung imo try ug butang ug mga cooling fans sa iya panel or top panel aron ang hot nga air mka gawas kay tan-aw nku sa imo system daku kaau ug voltage nga gigamit 2ngod sa ka hitech, try lng ug cooling fans sa side panels ug top panels

e reset pud imo bios sa default nya, nya kung init pa gani gihapon, try to use arctic silver sa imo proc e remount ug maau aron ang ka init maka balhin sa arctic silver paingon sa imo cpu heatsink

Maybe its a BIOS voltage bug.

Anyway unsa man jud imo voltage karon 1.72 or 1.65. Naglibog ko.
(dako rakayo na 1.72v for a T-Bred B)

i got these 1.72v on asus board

then i tried the proc to another board... ecs board

i got 1.64 - still same temps!!! grabe

if mao gehapun then we can conclude na its the proc.
btw what cpu cooler are you using?

have you tried lowering the voltage sa Asus Board?

Whats your CPU Fan RPM?

Did you put adequate thermal paste?

Did you clean your sinks?

Also Try updating the BOIS Asus Board. and don't overclock your board since
asus are known to be non-overclocking boards.

i cant modify my voltages... thats what i want sa board unta... but It auto detects the vcore of AXP.. sayop lang ^_^... taas ra iyang ihatag cguro.

Thermal paste is adequate

i updated my BIOS from Beta 1009-001 to 1008(non-beta but latest)

still the same.....

I put an 1800 XP on my asus board and it gives the proc a vcore voltage of 1.5 << this is gud. but to my AXP 2400+ it gives out 1.72 +. i tried my AXP sa ecs na board... im getting lower voltages... 1.62, 1.64, 1.67 naa ra ana nila.. magusab-usab man gud mga bro...
