Hi Guys do you know about web 2.0??

Im just wandering whats that....is it a kind of website??

Well, in the bad old days, the internet basically started as the World Wide Web. Apart from emailing your friends and looking at rude pictures, people couldn't think what to do with the internet. Businesses struggled to adapt to provide relevant content and services. Dial Up access meant that everything was slow.

Web 2.0 refers to content and services provided by businesses that have already adapted to the internet. The advent of high speed internet enabled content to be much richer, further enhancing the services and content provided through the internet.

Journalist Stephen Fry said that Web 2.0 is ...

“…an idea in people's heads rather than a reality. It’s actually an idea that the reciprocity between the user and the provider is what's emphasised. In other words, genuine interactivity, if you like, simply because people can upload as well as download.”

eBay ... Wikipedia ... del.icio.us ... Skype ... Friendster ... Facebook ... these are examples of Web 2.0

As what other people say web 2.0 is what they called a buzz word, that once you heard it you will get curious.. But in other way it's an evolutions of web.

web 2.0 is more like evolution lang sa basic html coding since nag start ang www....walay problema ang mga end user ani pero ang mga web developer/designer maoy naay problema kay tuon na sad ka sa mga bag-ong pamaagi unsaon paghimo aning mga sites nga web 2.0 capable...

hinoon naay may dghang tutorials na karon so wala nay problema pero ang dakong problema kay ang oras na lang sa pagtuon...hhuhuhu
