God bless to you too my friend.
wala man pugsanay sa mo bro. but we member do really understand the desire of God to His people.

your asking me about a high paying job? remember what the Bible tells us?
Mark 8: 36 - For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
never trade my salvation for money.
was resigned 4x of my four previous jobs coz of that reason, to work during Saturdays.
cant say nga daku au ko sweldo, little amount lng. but regardsless of amount never really trade my salvation to anything. even if i lose my current job now coz of same reason.

you know the story about Job right? nothing compares but he never cursed God.
try to read his story the whole Chapter of Job if unsa na cya ka datu and what happened. that if you believe the Bible bro.

many people want to earn money and hoping that their money can buy their salvation, but never you can find in the entire Holly Scriptures of Jesus Christ our Lord that you can be save through money, gift, or any means. but by our own deeds.

lets prove our point of views from Holly Scriptures bro and sis so that we can put light to our words and bring Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 8:20 - To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

So wala diay pugsanay sa inyo bro? Meaning its ok not to force yourself diay to not to work on Saturday kay wala may pugsanay. Meaning, your church is very much lenient on that Saturday Law. Thats ok bro, at least your church is exercising its authority over the scripture by being lenient and not very strict with that Saturday Law. Am I right? One more thing, I admire you for resigning your current job because your working day falls on Saturday. At least your faith was somehow put into action.

Some Sola Scriptura(Bible alone) Advocates doesn't agree on this. Its faith that will save people, not good deeds or good work, according to them.

    Sabado is Sabbath!
Friday is the day of worship for pagans.
    We "christians" use Sunday kasi---
the old Roman catholics don't want to be unpopular in the those days.
It was a time when there were a lot of pagans and too few "christians".
And they themselves somehow would not want to be labeled either one of these two for fear of unpopularity.
So they used Sunday as day of rest as a compromise.

    Exactly!
Even The Catholic revered Sunday as the first day of the week not the seventh day.

The Jews from the time when Moses was given the fourth commandment to the time of Jesus the secular jews were keeping the tradition of 7 day cycle or the Sabbath. Presently the Jewish tradition is still keeping the 7 days cycle or Sabbath day cycle from the time Moses was given the fourth commandment.
God has given us an important indication which 7thday is sabbath.

Of course if you believe God doesnt exist well this argument is out of topic.

according to the accounts or information from the bible JESUS CHRIST died on Wednesday.
Biernes Santo is just according to Catholic Oral Tradition and Catechism.

Christ died for 3 days and 3 nights.
so we will count backwards from the day of resurrection which is SUnday.
Saturday 1 day and 1 night.
Friday 1 day and 1 night.
Thursday 1 day and 1 night.
and CHrist died on Wednesday afternoon.
The counting of days according to the bible starts in the afternoon.

Many people believed that Jesus Christ died on Friday because of the information that the sabbath day is near and there should be no body left hanging on the cross.

BUT THEY DIDN'T know that there are two types of Sabbath that is being observed by the JEWS.
a sabbath on 7th day and a special sabbath.

if you have doubt then search it in the internet about the two types of sabbath observed by JEWS.

reading the bible will make us not fools of false doctrine.

    Peace!
