lucky for me nga ang opisina ug balay is only 30 seconds walk distance and at average consumes only 2 liters of diesel per week. pero bisan na, sa panahon nga dad-on na gani nako akong sakyanan ug layo2x, maka huna2x gyud ko dayon sa kamahal na na presyo sa diesel.

my mom from the US called a while ago and said that full tank of gasoline before sa iyang car averged US$30 pero karon is $50 na..

I heard that a car company will begin mass producing on 2010 cars that will run on water..

Oil is a non renewable source of energy so it's time to look for alternative means... I believe though that time will come na dili na jud ta magsalig sa oil, hehehe..'

.. you are right on that. but you forgot to look the at the REALITY of the situation of the wages/salary/income of a filipino employee.

Dinhi sa states nag reklamo man gani sila (you should see GM stocks dropping like rocks) and to think the average American worker only has to work an hour to get a weeks commute (assuming using own car) and the average Filipino has to work 2-3 days just to get the same weeks commute ... lisud sa? throwing away 2-3 days wages just to get to work. (That's why I'm retiring my car and riding a bike)

To think, reklamo sila nga $4+ ra ang gallon (translates to Php 47+ per liter) nga mas barato pa na compared sa ato tsk tsk

For me, working hard just so that you can have enough to get to work is just insane... might as well stay home or find other types of work close to home.

There is a big demand for fuel products all over the world that is why oil prices rise up almost every week. Many countries build stock to avoid disruption in supply although there is no danger that supply will run out. Geopolitical considerations play a very big role in this rise of oil prices.

The Philippines is just an importer of oil. Alternative energy resources must be developed so we can use it and our dependence on oil would be lessened. We cannot yet expect fuel price to go down in the near future. That is why the government has devised some plans that would help vehicle owners survive the increasing oil prices. The main recipients of this government aid are the cab drivers and jeepney drivers whose vehicle engines would be converted from diesel to LPG.

Puro ra lagi estimate as mention by Sen.
