I'd be honest, the istorya.net homepage doesn't look too good. now, i've noticed that you're wordpress, so I scoured for the best looking magazine themes or something which almost fits the website. I found this:

The content is in the forums, not in an external blog or front page.
We're going to get rid of WP anyway, so yeah, plus what we currently have looks nice and is functional.
