    Rumors:

    1. Diaw to Toronto?
A Diaw trade possibility involved Toronto, where talk centered on Diaw leaving for point guard T.J. Ford and the Raptors' No. 17 pick in Thursday's draft. Talks cooled but might reignite with Porter aboard.

    2. Cavs interested on forward/center Al Harrington?
Sources say the Cavs have been quite active in trade talks in days leading up to the draft. If the Warriors made forward/center Al Harrington available, the Cavs might have an interest. Harrington,
28, averaged 13.6 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Warriors last season. The 6-9, 250- pounder will be entering his 11th season in the league. He will earn $9.2 million this season and $10 million next year. It would take much more than Varejao to coax Harrington away from Golden State.

    3. Richard Jefferson-for-Lamar Odom DEAL?
It was about a year ago that Rod Thorn dialed Mitch Kupchak and floated Richard Jefferson-for-Lamar Odom. The conversation, we're told, didn't last long. Care to bet the Nets try again? And want to bet they stay on the phone a little bit longer?

    Diaw to Toronto?
Raptors GM Jerry Colangelo is collecting European players out there in Toronto. However, the Diaw for TJ Ford and #17 na deal is alkanse para sa Raptors. Diaw plays very effectively with Steve Nash around and it would be a gamble to see if he responds well with Jose Calderon on the point.

Cavs interested on forward/center Al Harrington?
Yeah, medyo nakadungog naman ko ani na rumor last week. The deal daw is:

Harrington & 14 for Varajeo, filler, and 19

    Richard Jefferson-for-Lamar Odom DEAL
Maluoy man sad ta ni Odom oi. Pero wa ta kahibawo basin mo-blossom siya ug maayo sa Jersey. However, Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak has expressed interest in keeping the line-up intact for next year and Odom, might come off the bench for them.

Meanwhile, Sasha Vujacic and Ronny Turiaf are expected to be back with the Lakers next season.

    THE LATEST:

    TAYSHAUN PRINCE ON THE BLOCK

Pistons' small forward Tayshaun Prince has reportedly been placed on the trade market by executive Joe Dumars, according to The Detroit Free Press.

The rumor initially surfaced in a piece by Chad Ford of ESPN.com.

There are a handful of small forwards that are believed to be on the market including Richard Jefferson (New Jersey), Josh Howard (Dallas), Gerald Wallace (Charlotte), and Prince.

CARMELO 'S REPRESENTATIVES AND NUGGETS TO TALK ABOUT FUTURE

Representatives for Carmelo Anthony will meet with Denver Nuggets management to discuss his future with the team, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.

The meeting will take place on Monday and will discuss the possibility of a trade this offseason. Anthony is expected to attend the meeting.

The meeting is being initiated by Carmelo, who has grown tired of hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors.

    >>>Ni-react na jud tawon si Melo. Carmelo Andthony na lang for Lamar Odom.

    MARION AND HEAT IN TALKS

Shawn Marion and the Heat plan to resume negotiations this weekend regarding a possible contract extension, according to The Miami Herald.

The deadline for Marion to opt out of the final year of his contract is looming as he must notify the league by Tuesday.

He is owed $17.8 million next season, and if he opts out, he would become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Miami and Marion have been in negotiating on-and-off for nearly a month.

Marion is believed to be seeking at least a three-year deal, with an average salary between $13 million and $15 million a season. The Heat likely would prefer Marion to opt out and agree to a new contract that would average about $10 million a season.

    >>>Ka-mahal intawon.

    Latest:

Carmelo for Billups and Tayshaun Prince trade talk but rejected by Nuggets
Denver denied that it was looking to trade Anthony, but the rumors have persisted. Detroit recently offered Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince for Anthony, but the Nuggets weren't interested. Denver countered with an offer of Allen Iverson or a package built around Marcus Camby, but the Pistons are only interested in Anthony. Executives with other teams say Denver's management group is divided over Anthony's place with the team. They say Karl wants to trade him, but that general manager Mark Warkentien and club advisor Bret Bearup are against the move.
The Pistons are in ongoing trade discussions with the Denver Nuggets, with two All-Stars as the potential centerpieces, a team source told the Free Press on Saturday. Representatives for Carmelo Anthony will meet with Denver Nuggets management on Monday to discuss the possibility of a trade, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Anthony is expected to attend the meeting, though his presence is not a certainty.

Reports: Raptors in talks with Pacers to deal Ford for O'Neal

The Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors have held discussions about a possible trade involving Jermaine O'Neal and T.J. Ford, according to reports in the Indianapolis Star and the Toronto Star.

The Raptors -- eager to move an unhappy Ford and make Jose Calderon their starting point guard -- also would include center Rasho Nesterovic and possibly their first-round pick in Thursday's draft, both newspapers reported.

    SHAQ RAP FREESTYLE RIPS KOBE

It looks as though Shaquille O'Neal is not quite over the rift with former Laker teammate Kobe Bryant, according to a report on ESPN.

Video on TMZ.com shows O'Neal doing a freestyle rap in a nightclub on Sunday night in which he puts down Bryant.

"You know how I be," Shaq rapped. "Last week Kobe couldn't do without me."

He also implored the crowd to sing along to his oft-repeated chorus: "Kobe [expletive], tell me how my [expletive] tastes."

Smiling and laughing often, O'Neal also sang that Bryant broke up his marriage.

"I'm a horse. Kobe ratted me out," he rapped. "That's why I'm getting divorced. He said Shaq gave a [woman] a mil. I don't do that 'cause my name's Shaquille. I love 'em, I don't leave 'em. I got a vasectomy, now I can't breed 'em." >> Awwts... that's gotta hurt.

Reached by ESPN's Stephen A. Smith on Monday, O'Neal issued the following statement: "I was freestyling. That's all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever. That is what MC's do. They freestyle when called upon. I'm totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all. And by the way, don't forget, six albums, two platinum, two gold. Anybody who knows me knows I'm a funny freestyler. Check the NBA DVD when I was rapping about Vlade Divac during my first championship run. Please tell everybody don't make something out of nothing."

    MINNESOTA-CHARLOTTE IN TALKS?

With trade rumors swirling as the 2008 NBA Draft approaches, the Timberwolves might be entertaining the idea of sending the third overall pick to the Bobcats for shooter Adam Morrison and the ninth selection, according to a report in The Pioneer Press.

Minnesota decided not to comment on the deal early Monday morning.

The Pistons are reportedly keeping an eye on the status of Atlanta swingman Josh Smith, according to The Detroit News.

Smith is a restricted free agent and is reportedly seeking a deal in excess of $11 million.

If the Hawks aren't willing to give Smith that much money, the Pistons are expected to make a play for the athletic forward.
