It's good for the sport of boxing. Now REAL fights can be made between real fighters co'z the held up has already stopped. All Mayweather did since he moved up to 140, 147 and 154 was give us fights we already know the outcome. He wasted the opportunity to become one of the all time greats in boxing. He's a complete fighter as far as talent is concerned, but he put it to waste by feasting mostly on mediocre opposition while he's still in his prime.

Since Floyd moved up to 140 and above, his fights were forgettable. He could even barely beat a semi retire dela hoya.

Tell me if there is anything great in Mayweather fighting the following guys:

Demarcus Corley
Henry Bruseles
Arturo Gatti
Sharmba Mitchell
Zab Judah
Carlos Baldomir

Did any of these fighters even rank in the top 20 pound for pound when he fought them? Hell no! Will any of these guys make it to the HOF? I don't think so. If his quality of opposition look great to you, then clearly you are hugging the Pretty Boy's nuts
There is no question about his talent and skill.. He is probably the best out there in terms of ability, but he hasn't fought the best, and that's what I'm questioning.
