apparently there are a lot of changes that can we can proposed in our present constitution.. it’s not perfect,Â* but do we need to do them now?
to me it's more of aÂ* question of form as against substance.. perhaps our problem is in the type of leaders we have or we produce.. perhaps the solution is not in the form of government but in the type of leaders that run it.. we want to change the form, but the problem may be in the substance, the type of leaders needed under the circumstances we have now in the country.. ideally, i presume people will just follow on giving support and respect to our leader, if they themselves would display utmost dedication in uplifting the general welfare of the people..
we've changed it already.. we have had close encounter with a parliamentary system, we had a parliamentary system during the last years of dictator President Ferdinand Marcos, but did it yield significant change with the every lives of filipino?
