actually ders stil a huge demand 4 nurses according 2 my relatives from chicago, UK and LA (i dnt no d status from d res of d states). d sad part is dat they r now strict n accepting applicants bec. of d 911 (afraid of having terrorist nurses hehe...). mao btaw bsag ni grad nako ky gpaskwela ghpn ko nsg... even my batch, 2 blocks mi nga puro 2nd korsers n ol of us bec our relativs told us 2 pursue dat career bec of d great demand... i suspect maong nay mga negative news bout nsg ky para mabalance ang work force or shud i say ang muskwela nsg wit respect 2 ader korses. ky halos tanan ngtapok na sa nsg... even computer skols now offer nsg (asa ka ana... unsay kuptan sa nurses nla keybord n mouse? hehe... nahimo na nuon negosyo ang nsg). hadlok ang pinas nga sobra2 ang nurses nya gmay ra ang hosp so dli cla ma accomodate tnan, ug gmay ra ang snod nga batch na mga engrs, docs, accnt, archi, etc... ma crippled jud ang workforce sa pinas maong knahanglan ibalance... nya saon man nla dman nla mapugos ang mga parents sa mga bata maong neg. pulicity nlng sa nsg prof.

ako fine arts ako course pero gi re-approvan kog 10 years weeeeeeeeee.... ni expire naman ako visa gud... no need to be a nurse para maka larga. para maka visa para nako that means nindot imong background

in the states, though the demand is big, you can't do anything with the visa and all.so nurses, how long are you willing to wait for the US?? i guess you should stock at least 2 years of experience in special area. masters are no longer practical, most states/countries don't give a damn about our masteral program. even if schools says they're credited, believe me, gamay ra ang ma credited if it's really true. i guess, nurses should plan there gameplan effectively. don't go with the crowd. there are still other countries hiring nurses. In uae, nurses are highly regarded. but not all. target for governement hospitals or even government police clinics. From where i am right now, nurses in gov't in abu dhabi are getting around 150T pesos. which is great! tax free! the point is, yes the nursing profession is not that promising so don't encourage anyone anymore to go into nursing as of now, but for present nurses, there is still hope.

yap dats d gameplan...
current nurses shud not lus hop... cos we can stil make it most esp. f uve relativs in d states hu can suport u... but d coming 1st yrs and d current studs, i hop they can realize by dem selves na sak2 na ang production of nurses 2 patch up holes from diff countries hu nid nurses...
