    Default Java EE 5 or Spring Framework?

    Hello mga istoryans.

    Have you ever tried using Spring Framework? Is it easier compare to Java EE 5?

    Unsa na Java EE 5? Can you elaborate it. Kay ang Java EE 5 can be broken down to JSP/Servlets, EJB, WebServices, Messaging(JMS), etc.

    Though I never used pa ang SpringFramework. I think mura na siya ug another implementation sa EJB. Correct me lang if I'm wrong.

    @eax: Thank you sa pag-reply ^_^

    Sa Java EE 5 ang akong gamiton ka'y JSP and EJB3 (Session beans,Messaging beans og Entity beans).

    Spring Framework is a Application Framework para dali ra ang pag-buhat sa Java Web Applications. Na developed ni siya as an alternative to J2EE 1.4 (Labad man kuno ni siya nga version).

    Do I have to stick on the standard? (Java EE 5) or a community powered alternative (Spring Framework)?

    Mao pud na ang akong nabasan before. It was an alternative sa EJB 2 or Java EE 2. Labad ni siya if dili ka kahibalo ug Aspect Oriented Programming(AOP). I think you need to read katong IOC by Martin Fowler. I think mao ang gi-sunod sa Java EE 5. Murag mag-inject na lang ka ana. Though dili pa familiar anang Spring Framework. Pero kanindot sa Spring Framework kay naa siya .Net version. For me another research on this framework.

    Para nako mas maayo mo pili ka Standard. Dili na ka ma-hassle in terms of migration ang mga companies nag-support pud sa standard like Oracle, IBM, etc.

    Bro, there is no competition between jee and spring framework. Spring framework can be use to wire application components without the application components knowing about it, therefore the application components are loosely coupled. These application components can be your usual java classes or the JEE based classes.

    lahi man nang duha.. Spring is a framework that behaves most likely with struts,jsf etc..still u could use JSP based displays..on the other hand, jee 5 is a platform for server programming, same with .NET..

    Agree. Lahi ra gyud diay ang duha. I still can use EJB3 on Spring Framework. Spring Framework does not reinvent the wheel. It is just different approach.

    Ang dapat sa Spring Framework ka'y alternative approach sa JEE 5 not Alternative to JEE 5.

    anyway gamit ko karon og Spring Framework 2.5

    purely Spring MVC ka bro or integrate kag lain na frameworks? ako, nakasuway ko purely Spring MVC ug Spring and JSF combo sad.. so far, mas nag enjoy ko sa Spring MVC lang.. naka nindot lang sa integration with JSF ky ang sa UI na part..less codes..

    @psud_1: For now I'll focus on jsp sa UI part, but but I'll try to take a look at JSF. Later mo-intergrate ko ani og lain framework sa UI part kanang mo-gamit og ajax based component (whatever you call it).

    @wildfrog: dili ko master oi... newbie pa ko ani. hehehe..
