who has tried updating BIOS via windows

kinsa naka try update BIOS using windows based updating utility sa motherboard, how was it? is it reliable compared to the traditional DOS based update?

check your motherboard manufacturer if they have the software to do it...

me! me! me! nakasuway ko sa windows. once through my dell laptop. second was using @bios by gigabyte.

dili man risky para nako... ok raman ang duha. wala naman gud ko floppy drive. using a usb drive sad kay wala pud nako nasuwayi.

based on the operabiity updating BIOS via windows is to me much easier and understandable compared sa DOS based, im using FOXCONN mobo and the upgrading utility is bundled upon purchase..i want to upgrade but havent tried it yet ky mahadlok ko hehehehe
