Whoever runs nothing will happen. Politics is now the main source of income by our Honorable & service oriented "daw" brothers & sisters.

In my opinion, I dont think changing the people who will govern ur country or even the system will help provided with the current politcal culture, political personalities and political arena that the Philippines politics currently have.

wla ko kasabot. please rephrase. and exactly what system are we talking about here? the system of administration or the political system (federalism, unitary, presidential, parliamentary) or the whole socio-economic system which dictates who can be elected to power and who cannot, whose views and interests are followed and whose are rejected or marginalized, who can posses economic clout and who cannot. and which sector of the society dictates economic policies, etc.

if this is about the political system, then we already have quite a number of threads tackling the topic.

I believe the current administration are trying they're best to kill the cause of corruption,,,,,,,,and if everybody believes that the people who are in the position are the corrupt one then ofcourse you have to create another system which may not lead them to make any corruptions.....but we cannot deny the fact that making another debate regarding the adoption of a new constitution would brought us to more misserable bugdete deficcit.....and those budgete will be taken to the world bank again as Phillippine Debt.....

We are also conscious with the fact that if you want to be rich then run for politics......coz that was the only servant who rides in a luxurios vehicle and wear branded clothes, who serves the poor people who lives in slum area coz thats the ussual word you will heard during election campaign, that they are serving for the MASA.....

So what are we going to choose to addopt a new policy or tolorate the ussual trend of Phillippine Politics?

I would agree to change the character of those running the system because no matter what that system is, especially if we are talking here of corruption, and the officials are still corrupt then we will still have a dirty sytem. But I will agree also that we should also change the sytem to make all the transactions efficient and transparent. With our current system, there are too many bureaucratic red tape which will lead to corruption and "under the table." If we could eliminate that like having few signatories for a transaction then we could make it less susceptible to corruption as one could easily pinpoint on whose the culprit. If we change our present political system to federal form, we would know which government officials are inutile as a state is only run by a specific officials unlike now where the whole country is managed by group of officials and most are based in Manila. If there are are 2 states with almost equal resources and one state is prosperous and the other languished in poverty, then we could easily pinpoint on which group of government officers who are not functioning effectively.
