Which you obviously have no idea about... if that is not income generating for you, then just dont mind those people who were able to put themselves through college or high school or was able to provide a warm meal to their families for working in a call center...

    and lastly, as you all know, politics in the US is never calm and serene, its always bloody and cut throat so if you are a company who does service for a specific party in the US, expect bad talk from the opposing party... if a politician wants to know if the policies he wants to stand for is popular and will gain him votes or not, he then goes to surveys... THAT IS STILL CALLED STRATEGY...

    Just goes to show sir, how small and narrow your mind is...
    okay, i have to be fair with this. you have a point arubinkun, but let's set aside harshness for this matter. we could kindly explain these stuff to people who really doesn't have any idea what the company is all about. we don't have to be harsh on people whenever they ask for information. these people simply want to learn what they don't know, which we know.

    i understand to the highest extent, rishee, but they also need to learn some things. respect, and be resected - that's one point. another thing is, if they're really not knowledgeable about certain things, they could simply ask people...and not just jump into conclusions based on WHATEVER EXPERIENCE THEY HAD...experience is a component of learning, but it's also better to be equipped with proper information.

    actually, it's not unusual rommel. we also have political surveys here in our country conducted by social weather stations, most commonly known as SWS. if you're fond of GMA's (the President) ratings and all, then you would get to realize that every part of the world does surveys.

    now, the last thing you've said...you can't generalize it. not all people who work for a call center, PARTICULARLY WESTERN WATS, are what you called "init ug ulo". i should say that because i also work for one. it's only that, we are all human beings, and we all have our BOILING POINTS, even you, much more if you're working in a call center. aside from getting to experience never-before-stuff, add the lack of rest and great exhaustions...you'd get to know what i mean when you work for one.

    I know you're from WATS and all... you may be a supe or what not
    but I tell you, the things I knw about the company are not rumors or hearsay
    I personally know people who did not deserve to be terminated. period.
    needless to say, I'm annoyed kay mag buot ka sa unsa akong nahibaw-an
    It's as if you're threatening me tungod kaila ka nako or kibaw ka asa ko na team or unsa na chuvah

    You know very well the company isn't perfect.. Somehow, I wan't them to change their bad ways
    and I don't want to read posts saying

    "YOU'RE WRONG" heller-- I just said I HAVE a friend who got terminated QUESTIONABLY
    and also "I KNOW YOU, WHERE YOU WORK, WHAT TEAM, YOUR MANAGER...etc"

    don't give off such threats honey,
    If you do know me, that's nice. ako tawn wa ko kaila nimo and I'm not the least bit worried if you know my manager.
    If I'm going to be terminated because you know who I am, heller QUESTIONABLE nah...


    sheesh... I don't wanna get into an argument with another employee but this is overboard.

    I strongly believe this is getting a bit off. Mass Termination, it is, as what most people call it, but regardless of being affected or not, we should set aside our personal issues. Rishee, is a close friend and I respect her opinions a lot. Now, turning the other side of the coin, I also respect aribunkin's opinion, because that's your knowledge. My point is, there's really nothing to argue about. You're not each other's enemy, mind you. Whether somebody got terminated or not, a close friend, a lover, a family, or somebody else, we're off the hook. Maybe, we should let go of it. Those are all your opinions. Let's just respect it.
