so graphs are considered FACTS now.....

I don't consider that graph as FACT...

    Where is your FACT?

    intel vs daamit - cpuwars..
nvidia coming up : had just announced CPU on a chip..

intel vs nvidia - flatform war.

intel not needed in the NEAR future said nvidia..nvidia not needed in the VERY NEAR future said intel..

wont give out healem datasheets to nvidia..no sli for nehalem ..

havok for ATI againts Nvidia physix for CUDA. beneficial for both intel : additional technology (from ATI ) for larabee fusion chip / and AMD to counter nvidia physix accelaration engine.

ati chip for centrino2 / crossfires for future flatforms..see? no SLI

    daamit vs nvidia GPU wars..

physix core.... intel larabee coming up..

damn! might as well plan for crossfire. hehehehe...

    @ajol is right

    looks fake...

but if its true.. nvidia might have a big problem

    HD4870 is targeting GTX260.

    BTW

nvidia is not sitting pretty well.

    as we all know now..

AMD/ATI teams up with Havok for physics.

    HAVOK? yeah INTEL owned havok..

    wierd? AMD+INTEL killing nvidia. jajajaja...

so cute seeing enemies getting allied to kill an enemy. hahahaha

btw nvidia has Ageia for physics...

    go go nvidia.

    Fudzilla

Radeon HD 4870 and Radeon HD 4850 will both have a whopping 800 Shaders. The previous generation had 320, and as you can see we are now talking about more than double the number.

ATI will market its cards as TeraScale engine capable and as we’ve suggested before RV770 will reach 1 TeraFlop processing power.

With 800 Shader processors at 625MHz the Radeon HD 4850 can reach 1000 GigaFlops or 1 TeraFlop, while Radeon HD 4870 at 750MHz would reach 1.2 TeraFlop. People have reported that the card will end up with 480 shaders, but the number is bigger. The big issue for ATI is that its 480 Shaders might end up much slower than Nvidia's 240. This was always the case in the past and Nvidia's Shaders are usually clocked at higher than GPU frequency.

We believe that ATI’s Shaders were quite transistor cheap, as the RV770 die won’t be much bigger compared to RV670; and these numbers actually do bring some optimism.

Yeah the die is 55nm. But the actual chip itself is the same size as those 90nm. But actually its 55nm that could explain the size and the number of stream processors built in.

Nvidia usually has independent shader clocks.
The article is saying that if the RV770 has 480 shaders it will be slower than Nvidia counterpart. But it seems that it has more than 480.

Anyway lets just wait for the release and See the reviews.
