PLDT's DSL technology is probably quite similar to the current DSL technology elsewhere, which means if your office, home, or business is more than so many kilometers from the nearest PLDT telephone exchange or that your current equipment is incompatible with the current DSL technology, you really do not have the option of subscribing to DSL. Newer technology may allow you to eventually get the service (farther than current distance limitations), provided PLDT upgrades its infrastructure, or establish an exchange near you.
Bro before ko nag pataud ug DSL ni try sad ko ug check ana tapos ang result is dili daw kuno pwd mata-uran.. pero nagwonder ko nganu nga duol ra man unta ang ila switch box sa balay... what i did was i went to PLDT office in Mandaue, ask ko about nila regarding DSL tapos pwd diay...Originally Posted by FREDENETICS

yep.. duol ra pod kaayu ang PLDT office dire.. (talisay) about 1 km away ra gani..
dili puwede kung ikaw ra usa sa inyo barangay ang gapataud, alkanse na sa equipment, just like the other poster said POSTPAID will do kay permanente imo bayad... so if you can convinced your lovely neighbour maybe that will do they can upgrade their line in your area...
dili ang ka duol sa pldt office ra ang basehan sa distance kundi ang switching station kung asa naay DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer). unya ang basihan sa distance dili ang direct distance kundi ang distance sa cables/phone line from your home to the nearest station.
Technically, korek gyud kaau DSX... Check lang kng nsay bag-ong marketing offer/gimmick sa PLDT or any DSL provider, kay almost every month may mga changes na cla. For sure ang DSL line bundled with post paid line status, also a lock-in period of months.
