The Spurs were beaten by a better team. Plain and simple.
The LA Lakers figured out how to dethrone the Spurs and they did it with their fresh legs. Naa nay indication daan that the Spurs can be beaten with transition and fast plays (just like what the Hornets did though they came up short). In the HOrnets-Spurs series, the Spurs really looked old.So, before the Lakers-Spurs duel, the Kobes already know how they can beat the Spurs.

Murag labo na makuha si Splitter from Tau. He just signed a 2-year deal with them.
Jr Smith would be a nice addition. Kelenna Azubuike's name also popped around somewhere.

I don't think so bud. As much as I want to think this will happen, it won't. The Spurs can only offer $500,000 max on any buyout deals. Splitter's salary in Spain is 8 TIMES he will expectedly receive if he comes in next season with the Spurs.

What I would like to see is for the Spurs to try to get TJ Ford and either Kelenna Azubuike or JR Smith.

Yeah. Thanks "bud". I guess the Spurs have to look for a new guy instead of pursuing the highest-paid basketball player in Spain. They still have their 2001 draft pick (56th) in Robertas Javtokas, who is currently playing with the Dynamo Moscow in Russia. mas nindot mentality ang foreign players when it comes to team basketball. thats y spurs want those guys badly.
