    Non-sense!!!!!!

real Professional developers or web designers should create from stratch.

If you are using CMS, it means you are just a "power-user" that configures somebody's work.
Charging very high just only editing template? That's not good. It looks like you are fooling the client. hahahaha.

"I think the price is too high..." rather than "15k for ONLY that work?".

    cheers.

hahaha "power-user", nicely said dodie. yeah a lot are using CMS nowadays and charge very high and what's worst? using an illegal template. just a few tweaks here and there and they'd brag that they can produce a website in just 2 days.

im totally lost what you are trying to imply here. Maybe im just so dumb not to understand. "If you are using CMS, it means you are just a "power-user" that configures somebody's work" what if some have their own created from the scratch CMS? and for sure from the scratch layout too?

for me it doesn't matter if the site is using an opensource cms or a homebrewed one as long as it do what it's supposed to do. deliver what the client wants. don't over exaggerate, but don't left it hanging either. the thing with web development is that, things get complicated once you over do it. (and eventually ends up in a disaster...)

I think it depends on up to how much your client is willing to spend for their site. Of course, you just have to give them the options.
In fact, most of my clients prefer to have a CMS set up on their site kay they can do the maintenance themselves later on. Plus, the leadtime and the cost really matters to most customers and CMSes offer both of these.
I agree with flashfreak when he said "as long as it do what it's supposed to do"

    Default CMS Content Management System

Lindot na ang CMS (to view free CMS) search it in google using these keyword "opensource CMS"

most common Opensource CMS is Joomla, Drupal... ang new ug mas lindot is the ottercms zendframework base..
