    Default xp boot problem


    guyz nag convert ko og fat32 na drive to ntfs pag restart nako balik dili na mo boot sa windows. cge lang restart pag abot sa winxp na logo na naa progress bar sa ubos. nya try nako safe mode ang mogawas kay "multi(0)disk blah..blah..blah..hangtod sa pinaka last na mogawas na "multi(0)diski(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\syst em32\drivers\depfrz" do i have to remove deepfreeze? dili man ko ka sulod sa windows. guys hope u can help.

    waaaaaaaaa!... it seems like DEEPFREEZE is active the time you convert from FAT32 to NTFS. dat wud be really BAD. ^_^

    you might just need to repartition back and format using NTFS, after that install XP.

    tsk tsk. if only deepfreeze has the brains to detect the FAT- NTFS convertion. i hope you made a backup from a removable storage like disk, cd, usb drive before the problem occured. *cross fingers*

    even if it has the brain. the thing is keep everything INTACT and UNCHANGED(freeze everything). <primary purpose of DEEPFREEZE.

    its not just your XP's boot problem... but your HD's partitions too ^_^

    pero sure man ko na nka thawed forever ang ako deepfreeze pag convert nako sa harddisk. kapoya sad format oi. install nasad balik tanan games labi na generals og warcraft dugay ma install. We'll anyway thanx for the reps guyz. Guys im making a new thread kay naa sad ko lain problema hope u can give ur insights. Its about cloning a harddrive.

    Not very familiar with this app, but it appears you should've "thawed" DF, reformatted, rebooted, then activated DF followed by an "update" of DF. Before you reformat, I suggest fiddling around with the registry and see if you can remove the startup lines that refers to DF and see if this helps any.
