bai, ako tan-aw ana corrupted nana ang os need 4 reinstallation. f u nid a tech text or call 09168369485

wala pai labot ang OS ana kay POST stage pa man.

this kind of prob is usually related to corrupt BIOS, which can be solved by reprogramming ur BIOS chip (not through your existing CPU, of course, kay dili naman makalahos sa DOS prompt).

dis s my idea, I already experience that kind of Mother board, its only upto the logo Manufactured by Intel, what i did is to view the POST logs, by disabling the display logo at the bios setup. and take a look what makes it stop.

there are some causes like floppy was not detected, but 1.44 floppy was setted up or some of the devices like HDD was not detected since may be it was user defined.
there is a prompt press f1 to continue or del to enter setup.

take a look if every devices is mounted properly, if all are ok, there something wrong with ur bios setup,
disable the hault on all system errors in the bios setup, located at the standard menu.

kng mo freeze, din try to reset the bios, in battery area or in the jumper or in the pins of the bios ic, short the pin 1 to pin 14or17, if u can identify where is pin 1.

if u read the first post carefully, kutob ra sa..... so freeze jud.

also, u cannot reset the BIOS, u can only reflash or reprogram it.

let's not confuse CMOS with BIOS. these are 2 different chips, and serves different purposes.

CMOS holds the BIOS settings u make, and which can be reset. but resetting it doesn't repair a corrupted BIOS.
