Default Mt. everest conquered? think again.

Ive read this on a book that was handed to me during my early years... it was titled "did you know?" .... man did conquer mt. everest by climbing and reaching its peak but they just took the easy route, and that is going to mt. everest via north. Well, why dont they try reaching it by the south path?

well, people wont care as long as they reach the top. But wheres the challenge in that? People died climbing via south, the air was more thin and cold as well as the terrain which claimed many lives. If the pinoys took that route and start claiming the victory then i would drink the mineral water that has their pictures on it.

(hehehe.. sorry, actually, ga-inom ko ana ron)

The essence of the MISSION was to reach the TOP thru climbing and not the ROUTE traveled .
