I president who see to it that his achievements are televised is now suddenly meeting secretly with a potential investor? Wow! very unlikely for her.

She wasn't there and there is something wrong with it as Ermita truly says.

    Cool The ZTE scandal

Ok. My thread seems to out of date, I know. But, you know what I noticed? Big issues are easily forgotten after another new issue arises. No wonder why during the ZTE scandal time there was Rice crisis told here and there, also there was the Oil issue. My point is, let's raise our consiousness and not easily forget very special happening like this one. ZTE scandal? HELLO? that's a 3.3B dollars we are talking being corrupted, the biggest ever so far, far more bigger than the Marcoses corruption I guess? Correct me if Im wrong.

it's been like this for decades.. one of the reasons why we're one of the most corrupt countries.. issues/scandals are forgotten, especially if it involves BIG TIME pipz..

  6. #516
if you have the 3.3B na kurakot...naa gyud mag saba2x.. it means gusto makig share sa amount... kung imo taga-an ug bahin ang nag saba2x for sure mo hilom na... mao na dinhi sa pinas more on DEMOCRATIC POLICY ba share to all...

they call it bahin sad sa imong na commission or pang bahin sad sa imo kickback... DEMOCRATIC way apil tanan gyud...

    mao jud.........

I think that's one of the problems. Ang people here in our country esp. the officials kay naanad naman anang kickback or mga commisions gud .

the ZTE issue is not forgotten. it is just not highlighted na in the news and coffee bar gossips during this time. News broadcasting industry is always looking out for scoops and hot news, not old news. to add, they much depend pud sa ratings for their business to survive. Much more sa mga common tao nga any new events mao gyuy hisgutan. What people are talking about now is Manny Pacqiauo's win over Diaz...Call that human nature.

what we only hear now and then will be just updates on the cases filed and what JLo has been doing nowadays. simply put, BORING TOPIC na...

and BAD NEWS IS GOOD NEWS. that's why highlighted rn ang MV POS tragedy, typhoon Frank aftermath, and kad2 kidnapping ni Ces Drilon.

AFAIK, re ZTE, there was no taxpayers money being wasted ky gi cancel man ang contract. now the big difference with the Marcoses ill-gotten wealth naay ebidencya. efforts are even still ongoing to recover those money. sa ZTE, unsa may i-recover nimo nga wala man?
