To make it abroad and make a living of playing football abroad, then you would have to practice several hours a day, and you shouldve started when you were younger. From what ive seen here in Cebu, no one will make it abroad and make a living as a football player. I dont really know how the other clubs practice here in Cebu, but im guessing its pretty much playing all the time, and no advanced practice. And then you have the lack of tactics, which is a whole different story.

In Norway for instance, some Cebuano players would make it somewhere between 4th and 8th division. 8th division is the lowest division in Norway. Only a handful would have the skills and football intelligence to make it to 4th division and they would probably be sitting on the bench for most of the times. In 3rd division you have some clubs who pay their players, but those are clubs who have really big ambitions to be promoted to 2nd division within a few years. Getting promoted from 3rd to 2nd is very hard. And for example when it comes to practice, the players have to be 110% concentrated and give their best at all times. The coaches demand a lot. A practice there is a lot harder than a 11aside game here in Cebu. The tempo and pace over there cant be compared to the tempo and pace in the local games here in Cebu. Even local national team players here in Philippines would have a difficult time to play in 3rd division in Norway. Many 3rd division teams over there can easily beat the Philippine national team. The further down you go, the harder and tougher the games are. Games can be very physical and a lot of the players are big players who are impossible to toss away. The same goes for leagues in other countries.
If you compare 3rd division in Norway to for example the levels in England. That would be around level 6-7 in England. For example James Younghusband used to play at level 7 in England. Same does Chad Gould.

I dont know who Keboks is, ive probably seen him play, but i dont really know his name or he is unless someone explains to me, but if you wanna try to make it abroad, then dont expect anything and dont be disappointed if you dont make it. Its a part of the game. Just give your best. If you really wanna try to make it abroad, i would suggest the Asian leagues instead, like the one in Singapore and Vietnam.

Im just giving my point of view and personal opinions. Im not trying to offend anyone here, so dont take it that way. Ive played a couple of seasons in Norway in 3rd division myself, and i know what its all about. Even my former teammates in Norway had experience from 1st divison there, and thats the 2nd level over here.

Youre actually right, the Norwegian top league is shitty compared to the other leagues in Europe. Hehehe but the league has a couple of good teams.

Real Madrid president Calderon confirms Garay signing

MADRID, May 19 (Reuters) - Real Madrid have signed Argentine centre-back Ezequiel Garay from Racing Santander, club president Ramon Calderon confirmed on Monday.

“We’ve signed Garay,” Calderon told reporters during Real’s celebrations of their 31st league title with city authorities in Madrid.
“I don’t know if he will come to the club this season or next, but we have signed a contract. He is a young player and the signing is proof of our desire to create a young, committed team full of enthusiasm and ambition.”
The 21-year-old Argentine, who is recovering from a knee injury, is reported to have cost Real in the region of 10 million euros ($15.60 million).
He has caught the eye at Racing since joining the Primera Liga side from Newell’s Old Boys in the 2005-06 season and has made a name for himself as a pacy, confident defender with a devastating shot from free kicks and penalties.
