ECS Motherboard Vs. Asus Motherboard

but i hate the lower models of asus, had very bad experiences in them.

Basta Hi End, R.O.G. and Deluxe/Extreme Editions, no question. AsuS.
Kung Hi End, also consider Gigabyte, also good for mid range (but somewhat expensive) and low end.

Mao ni ako history sa mga motherboards.

ECS:
1st board: Blown Capacitors sa katong Pentium 4 nako sauna.
2nd board: Set up nako sa ako cousin, dli mo gana ang SATA Ports. RMA dayon.

ASUS:
1st board: P4S-533-MX Survivor, hapit na mag 4 yrs. working gihapon. (Pentium 4 1.5Ghz, 2x PC133 128Mb RAM, Built in Video Card)
2nd board: M2V-TVM, Dli mo gana ang built in audio. Gikapuyan ko ur RMA so I used my extra sound card instead. So far working pa ni.
3rd board: P5K-SE (new), I selected this motherboard for my "supposed" overclock system. Mag sigi lang ug "overclocking fail inig start sa bios" even though wla pa ko ni attempt ug OC. Eventually naguba ra jud sya after 1 month use.

So karon gamble ko sa MSI. Just hope ok ra ni.

Asus mahal ba? saunz naa sad na cla cheap mobo oi pero nindot ug durable and stable
over any brands. Ako in my part I never buyed other mobo brands coz I trusted asus, ako bitaw nga
asus A7N266-VM na mobo buhi paman imagine mo 8 yrears nana since b4, and I think asus can claimed
the award of best mobo manufacturer and I believe man jud nga brands have just their own speciality
over their products. ECS is good pero naa sad cla highend kaya lang bag-o lang na cla.

Sa ka daghan nako na assemble ug gi ayo na PC asus is great jud ma low/high end. trust me d ka mag mahay wa man ko mag market I just give you an idea w/c is good and better.

more or less mao sad ni experience sa mga akong kaila anang ecs during the p4 northwood days, dali ra muburot capacitors. pero karon i heard na solid caps nasad ilang gamit and arang2x nasad daw performance..but i'm not too sure :/
