freedom of expression is something that is very important and common to a democratic country like ours. but I have notice that some filipinos seems to abuse it and the fact that they use it as thier allebies....

There's no problem with rallies but sometimes some people overreact when it comes to invoking it... Take a look at the Jeepney strikes for example... There are some drivers who don't want to join maybe because they don't want to put to waste a day's earning... But here are some who would like to force them to join to the point that they would put up spikes to blow off the tires of the plying jeepneys or form "human chains" to block them from going through their routes...

Diri sa Holland, you can't hold a rally without a permit. And funny, there are so many limitations to the freedom of speech here. Like you can only hold a rally on the "specific" allocated place approved by the mayor of the municipality. Kataw-anan, pwerteng ka organized.

Kinahanglan siguro sundon na sa Pinas. Mangayo usa ug permit unya dili pataka ug rally bisan asa.

We need implementation of law to imphasize and discipline our fellow citizen.

granting if there are provisions as regards to rallies, like particularly acquiring permits beforehand, then i think it's safe to presume bias in giving permits to rallies will something we can consider to be inherent.. especially if it is a direct/indirect attack or those not in favor to the administration/government entities.. recently, i heard from local news that some rallies at capitol were asking for permits, but were granted with it..

Pangutana lang ni ako. Pananglit gusto nimo rallyhan si Tomas. Natural adto ka sa iya opisina and then mo ingon dayun ka, Maayung buntag diha Mayor." Bawos pud si Tomas, maayung buntag sab, unsa may ato. Nia lagi mi dir Mayor kay mangayo ta mi ug permit to rally mag rally man gud mi.

    Ok kinsa may inyung rallyhan?

Mag rally unta mi mayor against nimo.

If by any indication, this Forum would tell us that we just have much too much of the ballyhoed "freedom of expression."

Naman tay freedom of expression as stated in our philippine constitution as long as they have the permission to demonstrate and exercise our freedom of speech. Since we'r a democratic country. Public disturbance man na if wala.
