Knicks-Suns deal?
"He loves Boris and Barbosa and he didn't like Marbury when he had him," said the source (about D'Antoni). "So this is the type of move that can jump-start D'Antoni's program right off the bat. He went to New York with the notion that he will have input and help alter the roster to get his kind of players."
Suns owner Robert Sarver reportedly is looking to get out from under Diaw's contract that averages $9 million over the next four seasons. Barbosa, the 2007 Sixth Man Award winner, makes an average of $7 million over the next four seasons.
>>>Tsk, tsk, tks. One more year na lang siguro sa Suns and they're off to rebuilding mode na. As for Team President Donnie Walsh, he's been focusing a lot on the Knicks' roster kung kinsa ang ODD MEN OUT. hehehe...
Kung sa ako lang ang keepers kay: David Lee (rebound), Richardson (former Sun), Nate Robinson (fast)
Ang tradeables: Jerome James, Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford
Way sure: Eddy Curry

All-DEFENSIVE First TEAM:
KG
Kobe
Camby
Bowen
Duncan
Second team is kinda shaky for me:
Shane Battier
CP3
Dwight Howard
Tayshaun Prince
Raja Bell
Although I would want to have Josh Smith in there (more votes unta), he's not quite there on the defensive rhythm. Blocks and steals could entail a "defensive" gesture, but he's still nowhere near such a defensive output. Plus, Atlanta does not help him get any votes (coaches votes) and the overall team record. It would take better performance for a team to get those personal accolades like the defensive team.
suprised pod ko why wala si Josh Smith ug Tyson Chandler sa 2nd team..
Knicks have formally announced D'Antoni as head coach... i hope he gets rid of Starbury...
And Jerome James, Eddy Curry, and Zach Randolph. Trade any of these for Josh Smith perhaps?i hope he gets rid of Starbury...
Those big guys still has 2-3 years left sa ilang contract. Eddy Curry is definitely a keeper. Jerome James would help but NOT financially. I'm not sold on Zach Randolph at all (financially and long term wise). 50-50 ako ana. Hehe...Originally Posted by yokam

Phoenix Suns
The Suns list of possible coaching candidates to replace Mike D'Antoni is starting to materialize. Former NBA point guard Mark Jackson is expected to be in Phoenix on Monday and will likely be interviewed for the Suns coaching vacancy, according to Sports 620 KTAR's John Gambodoro.
Phoenix also plans to be in contact with former NBA head coach Paul Silas. The Suns will gauge his interest in becoming an assistant on the staff, Gambodoro said.

excited nako
Dikembe Mutombo still likes to give NBA one more year. Turning 42 on June, Mutombo openly said his interest in playing for one more season. Mutombo was planning to finally call it quits in the last 2 seasons but very successful campaigns on filling for Yao Ming's shoes has convinced him to postpone such plans. If the price is right, then Mutombo will still be with Houston next season.
A personal thought: Maybe the Rockets should consider sending Yao Ming and his fragile as glass foot back to China and keep Mutombo. . Mas lig-on pa man hinuon ug tuhod ang senior citizen.
