heheheh. Wilt Chamberlain is a post-up player and a center (he plays near the basket not outside or "perimeter" so to speak )

Shooters on the other hand (mostly guards or forwards) are perimeter players (shooting the ball from a distance, like 3-point shots for instance)
Yup! I agree with you with that of Wilt Chamberlain's scoring abilities (he was the most dominant player during his prime/era) but he can't shoot from a distance (he scores usually from the paint by powerful dunks or lay-ups)... My geatest shooters of all time (in terms of accuracy or percentage, effeciency) would be Larry Bird, Steve Kerr, Mark Price, Jerry West, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Pedrag Stojakovic, Drazen Petrovic, Hubert Davis, Jeff Hornacek, Reggie Miller, John Stockton, Paul Pierce and Robert Horry. (these guys are dependable crucial clutch shooters.) and for a seven footer? That would be Dirk Nowitzki and Hakeem Olajuwon.

I like Mark Price most cause he has that quick release type of shot... Like Reggie Miller although Reggie's is a bit awkward

yap i know dat shooters are mostly guards and forwards but remember wer talking bawt shooting not specified as outside shooting only.wilt chamberlain is one of the best shooter in terms of field goals and in free throws not just a post-up player.although most of his points dont come from a 3 point long range shot but that was on the 70's.of course for new player right now is different.Another was Bob Cousy 1960's and Julius erving
